Versa stopped syncing and getting notifications

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I am the only one finding it pretty strange that my Versa isn't working to sync, download clockfaces, not displaying the notifications, name of the caller  or connect to Bluetooth since the Android Pie update and the fact that the new Versa 2 is out. If this is a ply like what iPhone did with their old iphones in order to get people to purchase a new one. I am not buying it. I am so ready to step out my Fitbit comfort zone and go to the Samsung Active 2 watch. I love my watch and the figures and the affordability. But this is just frustrating. Even after I did a reboot, refresh, uninstall and reinstall. I even made sure all the settings was correct and still not working...frustration has truly set in. Fitbit, please fix this.

@MelleAmore welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that your Versa stopped syncing, getting notifications and downloading clock faces. I appreciate the time spent trying a restart and re-installing it before contacting our forums.

Please try the troubleshooting steps listed in this help article. This article contains steps that you already tried but you can skip them and proceed with the rest.

In regards to the notifications issue, please try the steps described in this help page.

If the issue persists, I'd like you to try a factory reset in order to fix this issue. To do so on your device, open the Settings app > About > Factory Reset or Clear User Data. Finally, try the troubleshooting steps shared in the article mentioned above again and see if the issues get fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome! 😀

I agree with MelleAmore! It's pretty strange and I'm having the exact same issues since the firmware update! I'm been debating this with the support team and the only answers from them are:  check the notifications and bla bla bla as if I haven't checked them over and over! As well as the sleep mode, the do not disturb, the bluetooth and everything else. I even reset the versa! The only thing that has changed was the firmware update! Until that everything was great. Stop making us feel like dumbs.

Try removing and reinstalling the fitbit app on your phone.

I have tried everything as well. And nothing either...I am seriously considering getting a Samsung Active 2 Watch since I have a Samsung phone.

I am there with you all.  I have done all the same and still no luck.  Apple Watch is looking better and better daily.

My versa won’t be recognized at all and stopped syncing.  It started yesterday and I’ve done all these fixes too.  I don’t understand why every time Fitbit rolls out a new update my tracker goes crazy.  I just got a new iPhone X so I know it’s compatible.  Ugh!

Well I got it to sync finally.  But it was a huge hassle!  I had to completely remove my versa and reinstall it like a new device.  I’m lucky it didn’t lose all my day’s info but it all showed up when it synced.  I’m glad I finally figured it out but man, Fitbit, work out your kinks before you roll out new updates, please!

I have done a factory reset, removed and reinstalled, powered off, checked
all settings...nothing. I have IPhone X also. I have Fitbit a try again as
I had these issues before. Apple Watch is going to be next investment as
I had no issues with the watch. I switched fro iPhone to google but then
went back to iPhone. Should have never got rid of Apple Watch
