Versa stopped tracking heart rate

So I have installed the update and BAM. No heart rate... 

the green lights on the back do not show anymore. I have reset 4 times, rebooted 2 times, deleted the Versa and reinstalled 2 times, turned off and back on. Looked for another update. Looked on all forums for advice and still nothing. 
it has worked fine with 0 issues until Sunday evening when the heart rate just turned off and never turned back on. 

what is going on? 
can someone tell me if they’re experiencing this too so I know I’m not the one with the dodgy watch!

my versa stopped tracking my heart rate, can you tell me what the advice was from fitbit and did it work please ?? I've tried all the advice from the forums ie reset, turn off & on etc etc ??

I was able to get in touch with our Support team and was told that they assisted you via phone. I'm glad to hear that a solution was provided and you are back on track with a replacement unit.

I have the same issue. I received my Versa2 as a Christmas gift that was purchased through amazon. Worked fine up until a month ago now. I have rebooted and  reset the fitbit  multiple times.Removed the app, reinstalled. Without the heart rate monitor I have a glorified step tracker. I cannot return the fitbit as the warranty is no longer valid through the retailer ( Amazon). Very frustrated that this appears to happen to many Versa2 owners.

I called Fitbit and they replaced without any fussGood result for meSent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone.
