I noticed my Versa started to act strange when it wasnt recording my sleep or sending me notifications during the day. Then this morning I woke up to the screen being stuck on the fitbit logo. Every now and then it will go black and then the logo will reappear. It wont let me turn off/on. I did put it on the charger and it charged. Not sure what to do now with the screen constantly on.

Do a RESTART and do it several times if necessary.

Try a Factory Reset. Hook up your charger for at least 1 1/2 hours or until it shows 100% (in your case may not indicate anything.). Then, hold down all 3 buttons simultaneously until something shows on the screen and then release. If this works, your tracker will return to how it was when you got it from the factory. Leave it on the charger through entire process.

OK - I gave this a shot and it brought up my clock screen so I tried to swipe around and press some buttons and it froze on the clock screen then went to black and then back to the fitbit logo screen. Now it keeps going from black to logo and back and forth.

Thank you so much for the instructions on how to reset. I just got my new versa today and had so many issues getting it set up. I finally had it working and it wanted to update so I clicked ok, next thing I know the update is complete in the app but the fitbit is stuck on the logo screen. I held those 3 buttons down and all back to normal.

Mine is currently doing the same thing!! I have it on the charger and I’m hoping to be able to get it running again!

What do you mean by leave it on the charger during the whole process?? I can’t access the buttons on the sides when it’s on the charger?

You are absolutely correct, Beth. That's a leftover from Ionic instructions. And following is a more detailed instruction for Factory Reset with buttons only.
On the watch, hold all three buttons for about twelve seconds. This triggers the 2-button hardware reboot after about eight seconds.
- When the Fitbit logo appears, then disappears, release the bottom right button, then continue holding the left and top right buttons until you feel a strong vibration. This indicates the factory reset was initiated.
- This process may take several seconds, and eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays go to Fitbit.com/setup.
- If you fail to release the bottom right button in time or otherwise don't follow the procedure precisely , the Fitbit logo reappears quickly and boots without factory reset.
Try again if this tricky Reset doesn't work the first time.

Oh ok that makes sense. Tried the reset and it did not work. Just got off the phone with customer support and they are sending the replacement. So disappointing as I was not having any other issues with it.

My versa got stuck on the logo. I couldn't restart or turn off. It wasn't logging anything. Since my phone just synched new software I decided to do so a theme reset. Wham! Fitbit came back online pretty much immediately. Not sure if this will help everyone but it's worth a try!
