My phone and Versa are actively syncing but I am not receiving any notifications. The fitbit app does not give options to turn notifications on or off for messaging, phone calls, email, or my calendar. Bluetooth is connected, do not disturb is not enabled, and all my app notifications are turned on on my phone. I've gone through the troubleshooting guides and can't figure this out.

I didn’t do anything with the Bluetooth. I just held the button on the left o. The watch (the one in it’s own) until the options come up for screen wake and notifications. Click on the notifications option then choose the ‘on’ mode then you should receive notifications.

Thank you .... this was my problem as well.
Wish that was easier to find. This really should have been in the normal settings or on the app somewhere.
But mine was turned off as well.
All good now.

I have notification switched on on my Versa but the only thing that comes up on it are phone calls. I am wondering if I need to change my notification settings on my iPhone but don’t know what to? I only have notifications switched to banners on my iPhone - ant ideas? Thanks

The same thing was happening to me as well. If you will hold down the back button (on the left of the device) and swipe left to access the quick settings screen, you can check to see if notifications are on or off. Hope this helps!

Thanks to everyone who replied - I have finally got messages and whatsapp notifications coming up on my versa - I have an iphone 6s.
I went into notifications on the fitbit app and followed the instructions for how the messenger and whatsapp need to be set up on the phone - I had everything switched off so I just got badges - the instructions were pretty straight forward.
I made sure that I had got notifications switched on on my versa
Then I followed Staci24's instructions on this thread, sync'd my versa and bingo - it worked.
Thanks again

I'm not kidding you when I tell you I've been trying to fix this for DAYS. Deleting and re-adding the app. Unpairing and repairing the fit bit. restarting everthing. And I had the **ahem** notifications turned off the WHOLE time!! ::face palm emoji::

I was exactly the same. Don’t worry they don’t make it obvious that it’s there 🤣🤣

I thought i had the notifications on as well, but when I tried the trick above it was actually turned off. If you hold in the left button for a few seconds another notifications section shows up. Mine was off there, but On in the settings.

Mine was working fine until this morning - driving me mad! Was there a Versa update that could have affected this functionality? I've tried all the methods mentioned to try and solve this.

So, iv'e managed to get mine working. I went into the fitbit App on my phone, clicked on the top left image of the fitbit to get into the watch settings, went into the notification tab, even though it was already switched on i simply swiped it so it was off, let it sync, then turned it back on. Its working now.
