Versa syncing issue.

Fitbit versa is a week or so old and has quit syncing with Android phone.  Only way to get it to sync is by reinstalling the app and rebooting everything.  Any one have any ideas what to try next

@SunsetRunner What's your phone model and OS? Usually, removing versa from paired devices list in your phone's bluetooth settings (not the app!!!), rebooting phone and Versa (press and hold the left and bottom right buttons until fitbit logo appears) and syncing again, resolves the issue.

Moto z3 with oreo.   I tried your suggestion with no luck.  It was able to sync once and then it quit again

@SunsetRunner Please make sure:

  1. Fitbit mobile app is not being optimized by Android (Android settings>Battery>Optimization>Fitbit needs to be marked as not optimized)
  2. All-day sync and Always Connected are enabled in the Fitbit mobile app. Make sure to sync after enabling them.

You can also try:

  1. Locking the Fitbit app in the background by using screen pinning. Please google that. It should look more or less like this.
  2. If all other fails, please downgrade Fitbit mobile app to version 2.74.2 You can find apk file on the internet.
