Versa syncs with wrong phone

My wife has a Fitbit Versa which I borrowed briefly to test it out. I linked it to my newly created account, then gave it back to her after removing the device from my app. I have now bought my own Versa & linked it to my account. It works perfectly for me, but my wife's app often can't sync with her Versa if my device is nearby. I've never linked my new Versa to her account. Is there an advanced setting on the app to ensure it 'blocks' or 'forgets' specific devices?? Short of factory resets and setting up new accounts, are there any solutions people have come across??

Check the bluetooth settings on your phone. Even though you removed the fitbit from your app it may still have a bluetooth connection that's causing these issues.
