Will the Versa text message reply options ever work with iPhone?  Or will that remain an Android only feature?

I just want to know if quick replies will be enabled on the iPhone anytime soon and If it does ( let’s hope so) could you please find a way to tell all apple users it is now available. Thank you

@Jazzpage  No, I doubt it will be enabled any time soon. The reason is APPLE not Fitbit. Lobby them.

Has anything come of this yet? I have an iPhone & I love my Fitbit versa 2, but really wish I could respond to notifications on it!

Why is talk to text available only on Android. I’m disappointed in this. Will there be an update for it to work with iPhone as well ??

Probably a good idea to keep the Fitbit. You can’t use a Apple Watch across platforms anyway. So if your like me and eventually drop iOS due to the constant brick walls you hit when trying to get compatibility with iOS. They just want you to buy their watch. So they limit everything they can. Android is the best as far as I am concerned because they don’t intentionally lock you into buying Android Certified anything like apple locking third party chargers from working on your phone and now you can’t even buy a after market screen digitizer replacement or it will turn your screen quality to as low as possible once it detects the screen. Just over all stupid in my opinion. Stick with fit bit tho. It’s worth it to me.

My understanding is that the problem is an Apple restriction and that there's not a lot Fitbit can do about it.

Hi @Kimmiekimwolf - Fitbit will likely make an announcement when things get settled with Apple and those of us on iPhones can answer texts.

As for the Female Health tracking, it should already be available on your iPhone. It is on mine. From the Fitbit app on your iPhone, tap Account then scroll down to Female Health Settings. Follow the prompts to set it up.

Hi @Kathlyn - @SteveH is right. I’m moving your post to a different thread that is discussing this issue. You can read more about it there.  But in essence, here is then official answer from a Fitbit moderator:

Just switched from android to iPhone so I couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t reply to texts anymore on my Versa 2 only to finally find out not supported for IOS. This was a main  reason why I bought the Versa in the first place so it’s a big deal to me.  Might have to buy an Apple Watch now...

If I had an iPhone I would definitely get an Apple Watch. When you get a phone call, it only can you answer, but you can also talk without getting your phone out.

Versa 2 has a Find Phone app that sends a loud signal to the phone. Works great!
