Versa unresponsive

My 7 month old Versa vibrates but screen and back red and green lights are off. Counts my steps according to App but screen is blank. I also got red bumps which are itchy on my wrist from where the watch straps on. I have tried restarting by draining the battery, also tried holding 3 buttons  for 15 seconds. Not even logo comes on.

 

Disheartening

The same thing is currently happening to me.  I noticed the watch was glitching  yesterday and now it is not working at all.

mine has been doing the same! I have reset it after all I got was a blank screen now all I get is the Fitbit logo then it says to download the Fitbit app? My Bluetooth says it is connected to the Fitbit but the app isn’t showing any syncing and it keeps asking me to update the tracker but then it won’t complete the upstate!

I am having exactly the same problem, have wasted hours trying to get it sorted, losing the will to live! Have now reported but honestly wonder if it is worth my time and energy. Think I will look at getting a better brand of watch😢

Hi, I'm having the same problem. Tried charging the versa connected to my laptop, but no luck so far.

This is happening to me also. I reset it and now the screen is black and nothing is happening. App can’t find the Fitbit anymore either.

Mine has done this too! It started glitching in the weekend, the screen was lighting up and moving without me touching it! I restarted it twice and it didn’t help and now it’s just not working. When it’s charging the screen is still black but backlit and I can’t get it to do anything. Very frustrated right now, because it’s still very new and already broken

I have the exact same problem and I did the exact same things to get my fitbit working and nothing is happening. Very frustrating bc I love this watch and would like it replaced and not with a refurbished one. My app works and says that it's fully charged but I have no screen except a bar code like screen.

Mine seems to have stopped working as well. It started yesterday with loosing heart rate. It was acting a bit glitchy all day. This evening it would not change screens. Reboots made it worse. Turning it on now only gives me lines, no clock face. My alarm went off, but could not turn alarm off by tapping or pressing buttons. Now I'm getting a colorful barcode. Why do your Fitbit app updates keep killing the watch? This happened back in May. Now it's happening to replacement.

I've had the same issue for a week now... Is it a glitch or a faulty batch? My versa is only 4 months old

Mines is also 4 months old so could be a bad batch. Good news though, I am getting a replacement arriving today. Well done the customer support team😆 Hope you get a quick replacement too👍

How did you go about getting that? I have emailed them but heard nothing?  Wish I hadn't got this for bit now a stayed with my old one ☹️

This was my replacement. Only 3 months. It does seem to be tracking still, but there is no screen. I have to shut it off to turn off alarms. Then I have to hope it turns back on.  It is looking like I will need to give up on fit bit and find something else.

Well, my replacement has arrived and seems to be working ok, only problem is I asked for a lilac casement and have received a silver one that does not go with my purple wristband, also on the invoice it says ‘refurb’ so wondering if it is not even new! Any more problems I think I will go with an Apple Watch , expensive but never had any problems with my phone or ipad.

This just recently happened to me too. The battery was over 70% and it was working great. All of a sudden it shut off and never turned back on. I have tried all the troubleshooting possible, reached out to support and unfortunately nothing can be done since the warranty expired. This sucks. Buyers beware! I would recommend going another route if possible. I'm an Android user, may have to fork out money for a Fossil smartwatch or another type.
