Versa vibrating seemingly randomly

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Starting a few weeks ago, my Versa started vibrating what appeared to be randomly, day and night. Sometimes I get a blank screen and sometimes I get the startup icon (diamond shaped circles). Most often, it doesn’t seem like there is any change to the screen. For the last day or so I think I’ve narrowed it down to when the heart rate monitor stops working briefly. Is there any way to stop this? It’s really annoying, particularly when I am asleep!

@SMFluffy, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community. I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since it vibrates all of a sudden and the screen goes blank.

Please restart your watch as described in this help article. After this, try changing the clock face to one developed by Fitbit, not a third party clock face and see if the screen doesn't go blank and doesn't show the startup icon. Finally, monitor your watch and see if it stops vibrating randomly as well.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

I had tried restarting a number of times to no avail but had not changed the clock face so I did as you suggested and both did the restart and selected another Fitbit clock face. The one I had been using was also a Fitbit face.  I am still experiencing the issue, but now I notice that each time I get the vibration the clock face is also blanked out.

My versa started doing this about a week ago as well. Now it is giving me the logo like it is restarting on a fairly frequent basis. I let it run completely down over the weekend, unintentionally. I then fully charged it hoping that might help but it has not.

I do have a 3rd party clock face but have had it for many months with no issues. I will reset to a fit bit one and see if that helps.
