I don't have the dimensions to hand but I do have both the ionic and versa, and I have quite small wrists.
The versa is smaller but, perhaps more importantly, the way the band connects to the watch allows for much more range of movement on the versa and, in my opinion, that makes the versa much more suitable for small wrists.
I dont have a Versa - just an Ionic and I have very small wrists. I actually find the Ionic extremely comfortable and it doesnt look rediculously huge on me (which really surprised me when I first got it). I have seen a versa and the face is shorter and as @SteveH says the strap fixings allow and closer fit to the wrist.
