Versa vs Zip (step count accuracy)

Ok, here goes, I have been utilizing FitBit Zip for my step counts since 2014 and crunching those stats into "My Fitness Pal" app.  I recently purchased "FitBit Versa", and love it, HOWEVER, as a cashier at Publix Supermarkets, it over counts due to my arm action in ringing groceries.  I cannot get MFP to only accept FitBit Zip steps because it seems to always pull in Versa step counts, upon sync.  Any solutions to this somewhat convoluted dilemma of mine?  Of course, when not at work, this will probably not be an issue for me.

@TrumpforPrez20  A warm welcome to our Community! Sorry to hear that your Versa is over counting your steps due to your daily routine. You could try wearing your Versa on your pants pocket to avoid it over counting your steps but this would impede it detecting your heart rate. Or only wear your Zip while at work then wear the Versa once you finished your shift. Make sure you sync both when you exchange them. Still if you wear both devices at the same time it should make a correction on the step count as you can read here.

Ideally, I would like to have my FitBit Zip, record my steps to My Fitness Pal, when I work instead of Versa.  The days I don't work, I am ok with either one being the "live data" one.
