I've seen a thread however I wanted to ask. How accurate is the weight training calorie count? I worked out for 40 minutes with 40 minutes pause. Accorning to the Fitbit it's 1 hr 20 mins as I didn't pause after each set. It said 1,000 calories burnt. How accurate is it ? Or should I pause it whenever I am resting?

Your fitbit will use your heart rate to calculate your calorie burn, so it shouldnt matter whether you pause it or not to get accurate calorie burn. Id suggest you try it both ways and see if there is much difference. Let us know if you do try this as Id be interested in the results.

I'd be interested in knowing as well. That seems like a ridiculously high calorie burn. I lift for 45-60 minutes and my Blaze shows usually around 130 calories burned which seems pretty accurate.
