Versa will not power on

my versa will not power on. have tried holding bottom and left button. logo will come up and then goes away. fully charged.

Hi @Patq, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'd like to follow up and help you with your Fitbit Versa since it won't turn on or start up properly. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

 

I'd like you to try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

 

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds. 
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive). 
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons. 
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.
  5. Set up your watch from scratch and see if the issue gets fixed.

nothing came up. maybe a new battery?

I went for a short swim in the lake the other day, dried it off, a little while later it went black, so I set it in the charger, I went back a few hours later to wear it but the watch was warm to the touch and I cannot get it to do anything now.  Tried all the resets/restart suggestions
