I believe my Fitbit Versa completely died while I was sleeping. I've put it on the charger and nothing is happening. I've tried plugging it into different spots and making sure the pins are aligned still nothing.

Hi @Abel0923 , try this: put your Versa in the charger and connect it to a wall outlet and leave it there for at least 48 hours and see if your Versa is revived. Mine did, Erik

Unfortunately, above solution did not solve it for me. I contacted Fitbit support on chat yesterday and they believe it just died since it's 1.5+ yrs old. Seems really strange and random to me so I'm leaving it plugged in for 48 hrs to see if that does anything.

Are they only supposed to last 1.5 years. Mine was purchased in 11/2018 and had the same issue today. Will not charge at all and the battery died.

DDColl, I agree with you. Actually, I think I bought my Versa about the same time as yours in late 2018. Maybe planned obsolescence, maybe the OS update? My screen is black and it happened overnight a few days ago with no warning. Very suspicious. I'm switching to my Galaxy Gear S3 since it's more functional. Would have been willing to buy an update to my Versa if Fitbit valued me as a customer a bit more. (40-50% discount for the comparable product). I had a tracker, then a Surge, but I don't know if I'll move to a Versa 2 without more love from Fitbit.

Hi @TSim and @DDColl , although I have a Versa 2 now, I keep my old Versa still in working order in case of. Forgot to charge it after 10 days and the battery, after connecting to USB port of my Laptop, did not charge at all and stayed on 0%. I connected my Versa to a wall outlet with an approved adapter and it still would not charge. Nevertheless I decided to keep the Versa connected to the wall outlet for at least 48 hours. Guess what: It came back to live again and is now charged for 100% and functioning as always. So just give that a try, Erik

Erik, worth a try. I'll plug the USB into a wall adapter rather than a USB port and see if it charges after a couple days. Thanks

My Versa is only 13 months old and I have had this problem two times. I have also had other issues, which I will post later. My battery was completely drained on Monday, Feb. 17, 2020. I placed it on the charger and let it charge all night. The next morning, it would not turn on. I left the Versa on the charger until this afternoon, when I complained to my son it was not charging. My son got it to turn on by pressing and holding all three buttons at once. It charged 100% BUT (there's always a but) it displayed the wrong date and time. I let the Versa sit for about 10 minutes and it now displays the corrected the date and time and is fully functional.
I hope this works for anyone else who is having the same problem.

I would hope these Versas last more than 1.5 years. They are quite pricey to only last that long. Surely there is a longer life span. Otherwise, I will not purchase another one in the future.

Hmm, encouraging. So now I have to ask this question. I don't believe that the lower right button is actually a button. When I press the other two, I can feel it actuate (press and click). Have never been able to get the lower right button to press. Instead I just pressed the area on screen. When I read the Versa user manual, it talks about all 3 buttons but there's nothing that talks about what that lower right button actually does. I have to wonder if that's a placebo button. Are others able to hear the click when you press the lower right button on the Versa?

When I press the lower right button, it does go in. It feels like the top right button and the left button when pressed. When the bottom right button is pressed, my Versa displays alarms and then +new alarm with the time shown in the top left corner.
