Hi there,

My Fitbit Versa has suddenly stopped charging. I have tried the recommended cleaning as per instruction and used different chargers but it still won’t charge.

i also have a fit bit flyer that only works sound wise, on the right side. I really would love to have both working again. Neither of these products are still under warranty.

regards

pamela Randall

Hi there @pjranran, welcome to the Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa won't charge anymore. Thanks for troubleshooting it prior to posting here, I'll be glad to continue assisting you with this.

In order for me to better assist you with this, please confirm that you've followed the steps below:

  • Clean the charging contacts on the back of your device and the pins on your charging cable using the instructions in How do I clean my Fitbit device?
  • If the error "insufficient power source" appears on your device's screen, remove other devices plugged in to your power source, or plug your device in to another source.
  • Try a different USB port or a UL-certified wall charger.
  • Check the alignment and try reconnecting your device to the charging cable. For more information, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  • Restart your Fitbit once again. For more information, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?

On the other hand, to improve the sound quality on Fitbit Flyer, use the power boost setting and adjust the fit of the headphones. For more information about adjusting the fit, see What should I know about wearing Flyer?

Power boost is an optional setting that enhances the sound quality of your music with added bass and equalization. Turn power boost on or off by briefly pressing the Up and Down buttons at the same time. You’ll hear an audio notification telling you if power boost is turned on or off. Flyer uses this power boost setting until you change it again. Turning power boost off helps conserve battery power.
