Versa won't charge

My versa was out of battery so I put it to charge. After 6 hours it still wouldn't even show anything on the screen. I have changed plugs and it does heat up will charging so something must be happening.

Do you have any advice?

PS: I did go swimming with it the day before and it ran out of batteries will underwater but it has been in the poll many times and it has never been an issue

Hi there @HeIIo, welcome to the Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa isn't charging. Thanks for the details provided in your post and for letting me know that this is the first time you experience something like that after swimming, I'll be glad to help you. 

If you haven't done so yet, I'd recommend trying the steps below:

• Clean the charging contacts on the back of your device and the pins on your charging cable using the instructions in How do I clean my Fitbit device?
• If the error "insufficient power source" appears on your device's screen, remove other devices plugged in to your power source, or plug your device in to another source.
• Try a different USB port or a UL-certified wall charger.
• Check the alignment and try reconnecting your device to the charging cable. For more information, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
• Restart your Fitbit once again. For more information, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?

So I cleaned to watch and changed the charger basse but to no avail. And try getting to restart it does nothing. 
do you have any other advice?
