Versa won’t detect touch

The other day I put swimming mode on my Versa 2, because i was swimming. Later I couldn’t turn swim mode off. My Fitbit wouldn’t detect touch.
I have restarted my Fitbit multiple times and even let it die. I still can’t get the touch to work. It will occasionally get stuck in a swipe to the next page but never go completely over. 
I have had my Fitbit for a year or two now and have used swim mode multiple times and it has never done this.
