Versa won't re-pair

Hi there,

I was having trouble with my Versa syncing after it had run completely out of battery and I had charged it back up. The watch was not displaying the correct time so that was why I needed to sync it. After this didn't work I unpaired it from my phone to see if that would help, but now I can't even repair my Versa.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @matt.tlj Oh dear! Unpairing seems like a good idea sometimes, but often isnt!

Try the suggestions in THIS   Help Article on syncing problems.

Thanks for that @NellyG .

However that article only addresses syncing problems and troubleshooting, whereas currently, I am unable to pair my watch back up to my phone. I go to the Fitibit app then Add A New device and follow the prompts until I get to the page where I have to enter the code that appear so on my Versa’s screen. After I enter the 4 digits the phone screen stays on ‘connecting’ and no matter how long I leave it, it is unable to connect.

Yes I know it does. But you cant set up your device again if it wont sync. You need to sort the syncing issue before it will connect and pair. Id suggest you restart the tracker several times if you haven't done that already, then on your phone disconnect all items listed as paired on the bluetooth list, turn bluetooth off and restart the phone, then go back in and turn bluetooth back on. Dont try to connect anything to the phones bluetooth, just go back to the fitbit app and try setting the tracker up again. Ifnit still wont set up, do anything from the help article you can do (as it isnt set up there may be some things you cant try).  If that doesnt work then contact Customer Support
