my fit bit versa all of a sudden stopped receiving texts and messages. still gets calls. I have went in and changed the notification settings, I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, I have done my phone system trouble shooting and I have reset my fitbit. I will get occasionally get a text on my fit bit but it is very rare. please help?!

Fitbit App update or the Fitbit versa update.

I have the same problem. I've wasted hours trying to figure this out. Worked great before last update on watch. I'm using android

I have the same problem. I just got off the phone with tech support. The gentleman told me “you need to update your app and watch with the next update”. When I asked when it will be available, he said “we are working on it”....good grief.

@Weez1217 if your able to see your data in the app, you have registered the tracker. If you have an iOS device, there has been a banner explaining the issue. It probably won't be completely fixed until Fitbit figures out how to do what Apple doesn't want third party apps to do.
