Versa won't receive notifications

my fit bit versa all of a sudden stopped receiving texts and messages. still gets calls. I have went in and changed the notification settings, I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, I have done my phone system trouble shooting and I have reset my fitbit. I will get occasionally get a text on my fit bit but it is very rare. please help?!

I would like to add that this all started when the fitbit update happened.. unsure if it is related

Fitbit App update or the Fitbit versa update. 

Or you using an iOS phone and recently updated to Verizon 13? See pink banner above.

I have the same problem. I've wasted hours trying to figure this out. Worked great before last update on watch. I'm using android

I have the same problem. I just got off the phone with tech support. The gentleman told me “you need to update your app and watch with the next update”.  When I asked when it will be available, he said “we are working on it”....good grief.

I have been trying for days to get it to work. I just shut down my Versa
and now it won't power back on. I got it as a gift last Christmas. I don't
remember if I registered it or not. What a waste of time.

@Weez1217 if your able to see your data in the app, you have registered the tracker. If you have an iOS device, there has been a banner explaining the issue. It probably won't be completely fixed until Fitbit figures out how to do what Apple doesn't want third party apps to do.
