Versa won't respond

My Versa went blank and won’t turn on. I thought it might need to be charged even though it was just charged a few days before.  Still nothing.  When it’s on the charger it starts to heat up.  There is not light on the back, it seems to be totally dead.

Hello there @lnf0528, welcome to the Community Forums.

Please restart your Versa as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device?. Then, please try to charge it again to see how it goes.

If your watch doesn't vibrate when you connect it to the charger, follow the troubleshooting steps from this help article Why ins't my Fitbit device's battery charging?

Though, if you really feel that your Versa is getting really heat up, please stop the steps suggested in my post and let me know so I can move on to the next step.

Looking forward to your response.

Hello @MarreFitbit,

Thank you!  I tried restarting my Versa but it didn’t work.  When I put it on the charger it does not vibrate and I’ve tried what is listed on the troubleshooting.  When I try and leave it on the charger, it is getting warm.

@lnf0528 I appreciate you had followed the tips and recommendations provided above. Since this sounds a bit more serious, I've created a support case on your behalf - you should receive an email from Customer Support at the email you used to register with the Community forums. Note that we may take a bit long to get back to you since due to recent events affecting our operations, support options are limited and wait times are longer than usual.
