Can someone help, I've been trying to set up my new versa special edition for over 2hrs now , and tried and retired everything. Phone is Samsung Galaxy s 9 plus. So it's not my phone what's frustrating is I've got a charge 3 which the app removes once you confirm the setup of the versa. The problem was the update kept failing, so there was nothing I could do because it wasn't set up. I was practically sat on top of my router with phone and versa in charging dock and it still kept stating make sure versa near phone . So I've had to reset up my charge 3. I don't know if there is a problem with the versa I received but brought nearly a month ago and was setting up now as wanted to take on holiday, we go today. So would appreciate some help please.

Hello Ange, I was having a similar problem with my versa finding any of the wifi networks in my house, the battery was full and so I unplugged it from the charger set it about 5 feet away from one of the modems and it just would not recognize it. Then I realized it was finding my older modems 2.4 ghz ban but not my more modern 5.0 ghz modem. Is it possible that you have your modem at 5.0 ghz? Because I do not think the versa recognizes 5.0?

Thank you for your prompt response, not sure what spec our router is but will have to leave for now as away today on holiday. Once back will look into. But appreciate your feedback.
