I just got my Fitbit versa 2-3 days ago and it will not sync. I’ve deleted the app and redownloaded, I’ve turned Bluetooth off and on, removed versa from Bluetooth and reconnected, shut my versa off and turned back on. It will not sync. It is incredibly frustrating. Help me please!

@SunsetRunner Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here! Sorry to hear that your Versa isn't syncing. Which phone are you using? Is it a compatible one? Try going to the bluetooth settings on your phone and remove all devices listed there. Restart your phone and restart your Versa again by doing the following:
1.- Press and hold the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
2.- Let go of the buttons.
3.- If your Fitbit watch doesn't work normally, use the instructions in How do I turn off my Fitbit device? to turn your watch off and on again.
Let me know how it goes!

I was facing the same problem... I've tried different solutions and nothing worked. So, I've decided to complete remove the app, make a factory reset on my watch and restart the whole process, delete the watch blue-tooth connection and it worked. I know it seems a dumb solution, but it really works. I had the same issue when I first bought my Fitbit Alta. I didn't sync and I went through this process to fix it.
By the way, now the Versa syncs way faster than my previous Alta on the same phone.
I'm running a Android version 7.1.1 and Versa firmware 32.32.10.15.

I’m using an up to date iPhone 7 Plus.
I have tried all of those recommendations and none of it is working. Yesterday I finally unpaired the versa, repaired it to my phone, which worked long enough to sync it once but, once again, it doesn’t work today.
it is the only thing I have connected to my Bluetooth. I have tried everything. I am very frustrated. This was over $200, it should work. I want to just go back to my Apple Watch, which is disappointing because I love this if it just synced to the app.
How can I permanently fix this problem? I shouldn’t have to do these steps every single day.

The same thing has happened with my new Versa. It syncs for about 24 hours, and then it will not. It appears paired to Bluetooth, but sync won't work. I've tried factory resetting the watch, uninstalling/reinstalling the app, returning the watch for a new one. The second one did the exact same thing. My phone is a newish Honor 7x. Fitbit really should do some kind of fix here.

1. Unpair Bluetooth
2. Restart Watch
3. Re-synch (& Pray)

My versa was working great, then all of a sudden it stopped synching. Tried all the suggestions nothing works. All I get is " can't find device" msg. It doesn't show in my available Bluetooth device list. My old charge 2 shows in the list when I turned it on. When I spoke with the getting desk all I got was your phone isn't in the list. Fine, but it had been working fine for 2 months previously.

You really have to do the procedure described by @OckieSyah. Make sure you have the last version of the Fitbit app. I had the same problem two days ago, and this procedure worked fine for me.
I'd say it's also important to delete your old Bluetooth connection and restart your Bluetooth before trying to pair your watch.

I have just experienced the same problem; my Versa was syncing and everything worked great and then 2 days ago it stopped. Nothing changed (still same LG phone), it just stopped working. I have done everything suggested twice (restart, re-pair Bluetooth, re-installing app, etc.), but it still won't sync. Ridiculous. Not sure what else I can do. Very dissatisfied and dissapointed.

I have tried all the above suggestions to get my new Fitbit versa synced but nothing works! Its so frustrating! It cost such a lot I would expect a smoother set up!I just don’t know what to try next except to return it for a Fitbit charge 2 which I had before and was able to sync easily but surely there must be an answer to the problem!🤔

Have you tried to delete the connection on the app? Have you tried to make a factory reset of watch?
I know how disapodisapp it is, but after I've done all these procedures, my Versa is workonw just fine. Even when I tried to connect to a new phone.

I know this is an older thread, but I ran into this problem because I factory reset my phone. I tried everything recommended (except for factory resetting the Versa) and I'd like to share what finally fixed it. I had to remove my Versa from the Fitbit app and set it back up as a new device. It went through the entire setup process and viola, I was getting notifications again. I didn't lose any data as far as I can tell. Also, I don't know if it had anything to do with it, but I put my Versa on the charger while I did this because that's what the instructions had me do when I first got it. I hope this helps someone.

Did all you say to do, won’t sync with any of the 3 devices it was working with.

@Mamatracy Perhaps you could try this trick. Also, I highly recommend choosing one, max 2 devices to sync Versa with.

Well, if it was working before on yiry devices, you were not supposed to do this procedure so.
