Versa won't sync

Since  the July 17, 2019 I have not been able to sync my fitbit. I have tried restarting both my phone and the fitbit at the same time and nothing. I've tried uninstalling and re installing  the app, force stopping it, turning off the bluetooth and turning it back on doing that and restarting everything again! I had this problem before and it was solved with steps above and now it shows my steps for a few moments before it zeros them out again and says looking for device. I've had this thing less than five months! This is so disappointing as this happened to my perfectly fine fitbit alta rendering it useless after so many attempts to get it to sync. I loved my fitbit and recommended it to everyone but with all these syncing issues I am very unhappy and can't recommend it anymore. I have a G6 cell phone by the way and it is compatible.

Hello there @Imagz! I'm sorry for the late response. Thanks so much for all the steps you've tried so far to solve the syncing difficulties between your Versa and LG phone.

If the syncing issue is still going on, please try the steps below:

1. Remove the old device(s) from the Bluetooth settings (in case you still have the Alta that is no longer in use).
2. Remove your Versa from the Bluetooth settings on your LG 6 or any other phone you tried to set it up with.
3. Restart your Versa
4. Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use.
5. Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
6. Setup your Versa
