Versa won't turn on

Versa stopped syncing to phone despite multiple efforts over a week ago. Let battery completely die then attempted to charge. Light on screen when connected to charger does not come on. Left charging for 3 hours, came back still won't turn on. Tired holding buttons for restart, no luck. No Fitbit logo, no light when charging and no sensor light on back. Bought in Sept 2018 from a AAFES store while on TDY.  Have box, any way to get it fixed.

Hi @KtK_88 Try restarting it several times in a row, even though you can see no evidence that it is working and leave on charge for a couple of hours and try restarting several times again. If there is still no action then please come back here.

@KtK_88 welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since it's not taking a charge and won't turn on. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

Please try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. This article contains the restart process but you can skip it since you already tried it. After this, charge your Versa for 2-3 hours and see if it comes back to life.

Keep me posted on the outcome! Smiley Happy

I have the same problem (but I didn't let the battery run out completely). Battery was low (36%), so I put it on the charger while I hopped in the shower (usually all it needs to get back to full). When I put it back on, screen was black & won't come on. I tried restarting. Nothing. No Fitbit logo; just a black screen. I tried putting it back on the charger for longer (been on for two full days now) and still nothing. It isn't just a black screen & working in background. Phone won't see it either to try to sync.

I only have had the Fitbit for a few months, and hadn't had any major issues until now (had to restart it a couple of weeks ago because it wasn't tracking steps or heart rate, but restart worked then & fixed that issue).

I have had my Versa exactly two months and within last week, battery life went from 3 days to 2 days to one.  Today it didn't even last 12 hours and died completely.  When I got home I placed on charger and the screen never came back on, but it will vibrate slightly when pressing back button to try restart and very faint green tint on screen.  The Versa was never been wet or in water so not sure why these issues are occurring.  Also, Versa screen is protected in case during the day.

Any suggestions or procedures to try to get a replacement unit would be grateful.

Unfortunately this morning it is still not working. I have followed each
step in the guide and still no power or signs of a restart.

Any updates on how to fix the "not turning on" issue? When all of the troubleshooting options fail, what is the recourse? My Fitbit has basically become a $300 piece of unusable junk. Having major buyer's remorse right now since I'm fairly certain a Garmin wouldn't have dies in only a couple of months post-purchase.  And in looking back through the Community Forum, it looks like this has been an ongoing issue with the Versa for quite some time. It's a shame that a tech company can't keep a tech device working for more than a few months yet will charge nearly $300 for it and not warn consumers that it won't even last them a year. How do I go about getting a new one or simply returning for my money back (not sure I'd want a new one knowing it would just die again in a couple of months and have to start from scratch yet again).

I had to go through the support department and after some troubleshooting, they offered to send ax replacement or give 50% off another devic . I opted for replacement since I hadn't had this one for only 2 months and didn't see spending more money into the brand. I went back to my Garmin in ther meanwhile since they shipped the replacement via surepost aka snail mail since it was not a purchase and it took a week to receive it.
