Versa won't turn on

Hi! My Fitbit versa is just over a year old. The other day my Fitbit was showing low battery. I put it on my charger and the screen lit up showing it was charging. However, I went to check on it later. I took it off the charger and it was very warm. The screen is black and is not turning on. I tried holding in the buttons and looked up some tips but nothing seems to work. My Fitbit is in good condition. Any suggestions?

The same thing just happened with my Versa...HELP!!! I woke up this am and it was warm and now it will not turn on or charge at all!!!

I was wearing my Fitbit, battery charge was at medium, ladt synced 5 hours ago. But just now when I tried to check my steps my fitbit was dead. I tried charging but that didn't work. Its just a black screen, holding in the button or attaching to charger does nothing. Please help!!

Very similar to the issues Jody had, my verse will not turn on or reset.  Nor does it accept a charge and if I tried charging, its very warm to the touch.  Warm enough to where I will not leave it charging for fear it may rupture. Researched how to rest by holding a series of buttons but nothing has worked.  I no longer have a receipt but purchased at the Exchange store on an AF base.  What other options are available to me in solving this issue?
