My watch won’t switch on even after trying a factory reboot. Just stopped working after being charged overnight.... This will be the third Versa in a year and a half that this has happened to....

Hi there @Htut669, thanks for stopping by and for letting me know about your Versa 2's behavior.

In order for me to better assist you with this, please confirm if you've tried the steps below to solve the issue with the screen behavior:

  1. Check in the Fitbit app if your Versa 2 is still syncing, if so, try changing the clock face to a different one by following these steps: How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?. The steps are done through the Fitbit app, do not worry if you cannot see anything on the screen for this process.
  2. Please confirm if you've restarted your watch by following the steps from this help article: How do I restart my Fitbit device?

I'm looking forward to your response, keep me posted.

I have done all you have advised and for now it seems to be working.
It still doesn’t track my sleep
Will this keep happening every time one I charge my
Fitbit as it is annoying.

I will let you know if this issue persists

Thank you

Hey @Htut669, thanks for getting back and for the update. I'm glad to hear that your Versa is now working. Keep me posted on its behavior.

If your watch is still not tracking your sleep, Id like you to please confirm that the heart rate settings on your watch is "On". On your device, open the Settings app Heart Rate > tap to turn the setting On.

On the other hand, I recommend considering the following in order to get sleep stages:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

Let me know if in the next couple of nights your watch is still not registering your sleep data.

Good morning

I did everything you could old me to and my sleep score is still not
working

It tells me for my weekly Fitbit stays that I sleep 9 minutes all last week

This hasn’t been working for a while now. Frustrating to say the least as
I like to keep track of this.

Thank you
Heather
