This is my 3rd Fitbit Versa - the first two that I purchased both died within a week but still under warranty.
I went for my first swim with the Versa today - it needed charging some time later so I popped it onto the recharging cradle - it became dangerously hot.
It was then completely dead - I took it off the charger and noticed condensation inside the unit on the back.
I’m pretty sure it’s out of warranty as it was purchased in May 2018 - does anyone have any suggestions about how to get it working again?
I’m so disappointed!

Hi @SunsetRunner, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that your Fitbit Versa won't turn on, even though you have tried to re charge it. I totally understand how you feel about this.
I would like to know if your Versa vibrates when you put it on the charger. In the meantime, try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. After this, charge your watch for 2-3 hours and see if it comes back to life.
Keep me posted on the outcome.

Hi JuanJoFitbit,
I hope that you might be able to assist me. I am experiencing the same issue. On Monday the fitbit versa screen was funny but returned to normal when I switched is off an on. This morning the fitbit won't turn on at all. I have tried everything. Charging. Switching it on an off. Rebooting. Nothing works.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated

Thanks for responding. My Versa has never vibrated when I put it on the charger and it isn’t doing it now.
I’ve tried all the troubleshooting steps to no avail.
I’ve put it on the charger and now it is flashing the Fitbit logo on and off.
I’ve tried resetting by holding down the left and bottom right buttons, and by pressing all three buttons - no success.
Any ideas?
