Hi
I’ve had my versa for about a year and a half now and for some reason it turned itself off last night after getting quite warm and now won’t turn back on. I’ve had it on charge all night and when I do put it on charge it doesn’t show any signs of coming back to life. After being on charge all night I tried to reset it after seeing some comments on here but it hasn’t worked at all. Is there anyone that can help?

Hello @LeilaElliott, your participation here in the Community Forums is appreciated.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared, your effort troubleshooting your device before posting over here is also appreciated. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know if the heart rate sensors are flashing or is your device completely unresponsive? Does your Versa vibrate when you try to charge it or nothing at all? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check our help article: Why isn't my battery charging on my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.
Looking forward to your reply.

Thank you for your reply.
There are no flashing lights in the back of the versa and it doesn’t vibrate when I’ve put it on charge. I charged it over night and it doesn’t seem to have helped. My husband has the same Fitbit and I’ve checked the charger is working with his Fitbit. Ive had a look at the link and tried the advice given on it.
The only thing I have noticed is that it looks like there is water in the lights for heart rate monitoring at the back of the watch. I did have a bath before it went off but didn’t think this would effect it as it’s a waterproof watch?
many thanks for your help.

You're welcome @LeilaElliott, your reply is also appreciated.
I'm sorry to know that you're still experiencing difficulties with your Versa despite trying the troubleshooting steps that were shared on my previous post. Based on the information that you shared with me, can you please share with me a picture of your Versa showing the water droplets that are inside of it? Your Fitbit was designed to be waterproof, therefore, if water damage affected your device, we'll have to move on because no troubleshooting step will solve the issue.
I'll bbe waiting for your reply.

Hi Richard
Many thanks for your reply. Unfortunately once I saw the water marks in the heart rate sensors I popped it in a Tupperware box, filled it with dry rice and placed it in the airing cupboard. The water marks have now gone (really wish I had taken a photo before now). It’s been in the box for 12 hours and still isn’t working I’ve popped it back in for another night so hoping I can leave it on charge and try and reset again. If this doesn’t work what would be my next option?
Many Thanks
Leila Elliott

@LeilaElliott it's a pleasure to continue assisting you, sorry for the delayed reply.
Nothing to worry about, there's no problem if you can't send me a picture of the water droplets inside your device. If the issue persists even after trying the steps that were described in your post, the best way to get help for this specific problem is to chat directly with our Customer Support team or give us a call, this is because the issue is related to the hardware of your Versa (meaning that no troubleshooting step will solve the water damage). That being said, please click here to get connected and receive further assistance.
I'll be around if you need anything else.
