Versa charged fine yesterday to 100%, I used it all day and this morning it’s dead and won’t start up. Holding buttons doesn’t reset it. Place it on charger and it comes on and indicates it charged to 100%. Once you remove it from charger it dies immediately. Cycle repeats. I am going to try to leave it on for a few hours to see if that changes anything.

Hi @Akspanky, welcome to the Community Forums!
Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some troubleshooting steps before posting over here. It seems that the battery of your Versa isn't charging as designed, this could be related to way you charge your device. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check our help article: Why isn't my battery charging on my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.
I'll be here if further assistance is needed.

Thank you Ricardo. I have done all the different ports and troubleshooting. I chatted with a tech and they can only give me a 25% discount on a new device. The versa works on the charger, once you remove it from the charger it dies immediately. So I assume the battery wont take a charge any more and its time for a new one.

I am having the exact same problem. It has worked just fine until this afternoon. I’ve had my device since Dec. 2019 and used it with no problems other than minor syncing issues at times. Currently, it only turns on when on the charger and it had almost 100% battery life when the screen went black. It does not light up in the back either. I’ve done all the troubleshooting to reboot/restart/kill app I’ve found from users and support techs in the forums but nothing has helped. I’ve never had issues with charging or keeping a charge. It simply is not working. What else is there to do?

Appreciate the reply. I’ll have to try that route then. Thanks 🤗
