My versa stopped working the other day then worked after being on the charger for a bit. Now its not working again. When its off and I try to reset with the left and lower right buttons it show a battery with 0%. When I put back on charger it goes to the logo screen and vibrates but when off its a blank screen.  I talked to someone who had me clean the back with alcohol and it fixed it for like 5 minutes.  No back to not work. Is my fitbit toast?

It may be ok and may be just flat.

If you get the Logo screen then at least the display is working and so is the device.

The screen will go blank after a short time.

Check if you remove it from the charger and replace it what it says.

Also off the charger what happens with a push of the left button - if it says 0% then its not charged.

Have a look at the suggestion posted here to see if the device is charging properly.

Also tapping it while charging should show its current charge level, if that remains at 0% then its not charging.

Check you are using the correct charger for your watch, just in case you have more than one available.
