Hi,
I use Versa2 for last few months. I am able to track the walking exercise by enabling (A-GPS) from paired phone and that is able to track the distance (though that is also error prone and the distance is not accurate sometime, but it can at least track the same).
But if I use the exercise for other activities like Biking, then it does not even track the distance and just says 0Km. In same scenario if I just switch to walk, it starts tracking.
It appears something is wrong with other activity tracker.
Thanks,
Sachin

Is Exercise -> biking by default expected to be outside/outdoor? If so I tried the same.
Also I suppose we do not require to restart the watch while switching between activities like walking or biking

@sachinpatki - a watch start isn't normally required but may have fixed the issue.
I misread the switch to walk. Was possibly thinking indoor biking won't measure distance.

Both activities are outdoor. Let me restart the watch and try again.
Meanwhile, I assume exercise-> bike is expected to be outdoor. Correct?

@sachinpatki - yes but it may auto start or be started manually, there are some differences.
Probably best to check the manual.

@sachinpatki I apologize if I am misreading your post. Are you using the Bike shortcut on the Versa 2 with connected GPS or the auto recognition feature (SmartTrack). Smart Track doesn't measure bike distance. The Bike shortcut will give you your GPS distance in the exercise details. It doesn't add that distance to your daily total distance. Daily total distance only comes from step based activities, not biking or swimming.

Thanks for your response. And sorry to not get back immediately
On Versa 2, there is an option Exercise => <various modes of exercise including walk, bike, swim, etc> I am trying Bike in this. I am not sure if that maps to "Bike shortcut" OR auto recognition feature (SmartTrack).
Also I am not counting on this to add into my daily steps, of course not. If I am on bike (bicycle) it should not count that as walked steps anyways.
But what I was expecting is if I explicitly select Exercise => Bike and then ride my bicycle, it should tell me how many kilometers I travelled. It says 0 Km always.
Do let me know if thats not expected to work
I tried updating the latest SW on Versa2 and do the same steps to track Biking activity inside Exercise. But that still shows 0km. It appears this tracking feature doesn't work.
Has anyone tried using this and seen it working?

Hi @sachinpatki - are you taking the phone with you when you go biking?
And did you select connected GPS before starting the ride, by clicking the gear icon when you have selected bike as the exercise?
