Hi there, I got a Versa 2 for Christmas and have had issues with it since day 1.
The Versa 2 periodically and for long durations displays the fit bit icon which means that the watch becomes unresponsive. It is often like this for hours at a time. I have tried removing the app and also removing my Fitbit from my account and reinstalling. It’s really frustrating as it seemingly only works correctly circa 2 or 3 hours per day. Is this a common issue and how do I resolve it?

Try a Restart and do it several times if necessary.

Thanks, although I’ve tried a number of restarts. It appears it is a fault with the watch so I will return it.

When it is working correctly, try a Factory Reset by swiping left to Settings and then About, Factory Reset.
