Versa3 not tracking

Versa 3 is not tracking anything on the watch at all. It does show on the app though. Any suggestions? I tried a hard factory reset and a shutdown.

Hi @Pebbles230692  - do you mean you tried a restart and a shutdown? 

 

If you did a factory reset nothing should show in the app.

 

If there are no flashing lights on the back try charging the watch and if it gets hot stop immediately.

 

Sometimes it doesn't charge, like nothing shows on the watch face after a few minutes if you double tap it?

 

If that is the case it may not be charging. See How to check charge cable - Sense/Versa 3 won't charge, won't start or blank screen

Yes I tried a factory restart. The lights are flashing green and red when I take it off and it is still tracking to my phone. It is definitely charging and still has good battery life. It is basically only a watch at the moment as nothing else shows on the face. I get two dashes where the numbers should be.

@Pebbles230692 - thanks, I presume it is heart rate only that is not showing otherwise the display is working?

 

After the factory reset did you reinstall the clock face you were using originally with the problem? Can you try another one?

 

Alternatively swipe the watch face to the left and click on the Today app and scroll to heart rate to see the value. If there is no value there the watch is faulty and needs replacing.

I changed the clock face and now it’s working. Can I go back to the old one at all? Do I just need to give it some time? I don’t really like the new one at all.

@Pebbles230692  - thanks for confirming the resolution, there is a fault with the clock face not the watch.

 

You can always contact the developer at the bottom of the install page, or choose another from the many available in Gallery.

 

In the Gallery tile you can search for clock faces meeting the criteria you require.
