I just bought the Fitbit Versa 3 watch, and I am having constant issues with syncing (messages/chats/calls). Approximately once every 4 hours, I see a pop-up in the Fitbit app on my phone saying "Notification service not running. A phone restart is required to re-enable notifications on your tracker". I noticed that during times, there is also a phone icon on my Versa3 cut out, but it usually disappears almost instantly.
To solve it, I have to go to Fitbit settings on my phone, clear data and cache, restart the phone, and launch the Fitbit app. While doing all this, I don't even touch my watch, so neither sleep nor DND are enabled on the Versa 3.
This is proving to be a bit tedious since besides having to setup some settings again, I won't always notice instantly that my Versa3 is no longer displaying chat notifications. Is there a remedy for this issue please? I already tried the steps here: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1866.htm with no success. TIA!

Hi Pamela! I had the same issues with my Versa 3 and a Xiaomi phone. I actually went to my phone settings and looked for the Fitbit app under the system apps. There, I turned on the "start automatic" (My phone is in spanish but it is the first toggle option under the permissions right under battery) and then on the battery saving section, I removed the MIUI recommended one and allowed the no restrictions option. Although of that, allow all persmissions and that worked for me!! Hope it helps you
