WIFi off on Versa. Cannot synch

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Versa last synced at 2:14 yesterday afternoon. Had not changed any settings and now will not find my network or sync. Versa says “WiFi off” in IP address on About screen. Have tried recommendations to place on charger and use app for finding and connecting to WiFi. App will not find network, nor accept it when entered manually. Also have shutdown and restarted Versa. What next?

Versa wifi is not used in normal sync.  Sync uses bluetooth between Versa and phone, and phone's wifi to and from main fitbit database.

Versa wifi is used I think for loading music and firmware updates, though not absolutely sure on that.

One thing you didn't mention trying is turning phone off and on, or at least turning phone's bluetooth off and back on, assuming you are using phone app, which I don't think you mentioned.

Won't sync. Updated today. Rebooted devise, login. Nothing works.

I did all of those things. Still won't work. Last sync yesterday @Noon.

Using app on both iPad and iPhone. Have turned off Bluetooth on phone then back on and phone cannot find Versa now. IPad still connected by Bluetooth, but still fails to sync. Followed directions in forum to reconnect by using charger connected to MacBook, but that has failed. Out of ideas.☹️

You hadn't mentioned before that you are connected to 2 sync devices.  Leave bluetooth off on one device while trying to sync with the other.

Problem apparently remedied with waiting. Nothing I did seemed to make a difference, but last night I could sync from both iPhone and iPad. Thanks for the suggestions.

That is often the solution.  Too often people keep thinking they have to take some actions because a sync didn't work, without realizing the solution is often patience.
