My daughter bought her Fitbit versa just over a year ago with her own money. Now the screen is black and nothing will show up when you push buttons. It is charged as we have charged it all day. No lights on the back flashing neither. She takes good care of her stuff and this is very disappointing since she spent her own money on this and a year later it doesn’t work.

I'd like you to try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. After this, charge your daughter's watch for 2-3 hours and see if it comes back to life.

@JuanJoFitbit I'm having this same issue. I tried your recommended steps and haven't had any luck.

I will try this stuff but I can't even get it to respond to TRY to do some of these things. After chatting with Fitbit last night, they had me do a battery test which we could barely do because of the watch being black and non-responsive. Basically told me since it is out of the warranty, they can't do anything. This watch is only out of warranty by a week or so! If it was my watch that was bought a week after my daughters, they would have replaced it! So frustrating that you spend this amount of money on stuff and they won't back their products!! The thing that is most disappointing is my daughter bought it with her own money....WE didn't buy it for her.
