Water damage

Good day,

I washed my fitbit Versa strap on Sunday morning before I went to the parkrun. When I arrived at the parkrun, my fitbit was dead. I assumed my battery was flat,

When I got home, I was unable to switch on my fitbit - no matter what I tried. I googled all trouble shooting options.

That afternoon I saw that there is water INSIDE my fitbit Versa. Its supposed to be water resistant to 50m! i washed the strap and water got into the fitbit.

This is not acceptable at all.

I have now had it in rice for 2 days and still nothing - pls advise urgently?

Yes, I washed it.

It is water resistant up to 50m.....so PLS explain the issue to me.

It was not submerged, just washed the strap
