Water in Versa sensor

I used my fitbit in the gym this morning between 11am and 12am and everything was working fine. Thereafter, the watch kept on switching off and when the screen comes on it either flickers or the screen is covered with flickering colours. I have tried restaring the watch since it last went off but no luck thus far. I have also tried several tips and tricks I found on the fitbit community blog, however, these did not work.

Further on the blog I came about many similar cases as the problem I am currently experiencing and in all of these cases the people's fitbits had water damage.

It indeed appears that there are water droplets inside of my fitbit watch's sensors. I have seen photos confirming that my case is the same as others.

Please help, I love my fitbit and use it everyday to stay fit and healthy!
