Water in sensor

Hello,

My fitbit versa will not turn on any longer. I could not figure out why, but eventually noticed that there was a little water in the sensor... even though it is supposed to be waterproof. I have not been swimming or worn it in the shower, so I am confused to say the least. I have not even had my versa for a year yet. Has this been happening to anyone else?

Thank you!

@court.b Welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that your Versa stopped turning on.

Does your Versa turn on when you put it in the charger? If so, for how long have you left it in the charger?

In the meantime, please restart your Versa as described in this help article. After this, charge your tracker for 2-3 hours and see if it turns on.

Keep me posted! Smiley Happy

I have left it on the charger for 35-40 min and still wouldn’t turn on. I’ve looked up how to restart it, however nothing happens at all. The screen just stays black. 😞

@court.b Thank you for getting back and trying the restart process that was recommended previously. Since the issue persists, I'll forward your case to our Support team so they can investigate further and provide a solution. You will receive an email from them soon.

I'm having the same issue except mine is a second hand watch I've had for months that worked fine until a few days ago. I noticed the condensation today
