This is seriously ridiculous.. I'm normally not one to complain but just seeing all the problems people are having makes me even madder..
-Heart Rate not reading
-Sleep not tracking
-Ghost steps
-Not updating
-Not syncing
-Battery lasts a day
-Pre orders still not received...
It would really mean a lot and save some face if Fitbit would just say "hey we are having some issues and we are working on it"... But no. We get a copy and paste response of restarting 1000 times, re-pairing, set your watch on your router, face north and do 3 cartwheels while holding your breath.... This is insane. Seriously...
I get it that there probably are perfectly working Versa's out there but ya know what? A lot of us don't have them.. I've had no issues with Fitbit over the last year with my Alta HR but these last few days with 'the new top of the line Versa' has just been hell.. I want to exchange it but seeing all the things mentioned I'm afraid it won't fix anything and it seems like I'd have a pretty good chance of receiving a unit worse off than I am already..
I have about 27 days left to return this thing. I'm gonna keep the faith and hope for a software update to fix these issues but the fact that they can't even admit there are issues make me feel doubtful..
I want to love this watch. I want to remain a Fitbit customer/supporter but its been pretty hard the last few days..

I say keep supporting just like any new tech there's always bugs and troubleshooting. Maybe there will be a recall and new model to take its place. I feel the same way about all the problems the versa is having but I'm positive things will work out.

I totally understand new tech has issues. I've been an early adopter of a lot of tech products over the years. I honestly gotta say this one is pretty bad tho.. It just feels rushed. It doesn't seem like enough testing was done before releasing it. I hear you tho and want to stay hopefully.

I'm kicking myself.. I was a loyal pebble user for about 5 years, (I'm also an early adopter) I loved it, and it was time to upgrade to something supported and a bit more modern.. so I went with it's "spiritual successor" I bought full into the fitbit platform, even bought the latest scale, although I generally prefer garmin devices. I have some friends on fitbit, so I pulled the trigger.
no decent notifications
poor backlight and screen wake up
no notification responses
poor syncing
ages for firmware updates
useless apps.
terrible support
I should have gone with a vivoactive3 for $30 more.. wondering if I can put this setup on Craigslist
