Weights section now shows laps

When I select "Weights" under the exercise menu, instead of having the timer like all other options do (run, treadmill, bike, etc) it shows "Laps" as below:

--------------------------------------------------

Show Laps - off

Automatic Lap Setting

Customise stats

---------------------------------------------------

It no longer has the timer. If this is a deliberate change that's been forced through, I want to roll back to the previous version, as I find the idea of "laps" with weights ridiculous. You do laps while swimming, not lifting weights, and I use time as a way to measure that.

@ThinRedLine  It is still there. Please do the following:

  1. Open Exercise app on your Versa and tap on the Settings icon (gear cog) of the Weights exercise
  2. Tap on Show Laps until the setting is set to Manually
  3. Tap on Customize Stats and select Lap Time to be shown either as Top, Middle or Bottom Stat (according to your preference) - this is the "timer" you're interested in
  4. Press the left button twice to exit the exercise settings
  5. Start the Weight exercise like usual. When done with a machine and ready to move to another press the top right button once. This will mark the activity as done and will start the new timer (new lap).

Hope that helps.

@ThinRedLine Fitbit calls the cues laps. What it means it can divide your exercise based on calories, time and distance depending on exercise. You do not need to turn this setting ON. By the timer do you mean time elapsed? It is a stat that can be configured under Customise stats option. You can select which stats will be displayed on top, middle and bottom of the screen. You can have several stats in the middle of the screen and just tap to switch between them.

Must be an American thing, I've never heard of it before. Sucks that I lose that information, but at least I don't have to try to jam the watch up under my weights gloves now. I still don't get it. Must have been thousands asking for the change...

@ThinRedLine But, is it Time Elapsed that you need? What exactly would you like to do?

It is time elapsed I want. I want to push "start" when I start my weights workout and "stop" when I finish, and have it record that as activity done. I don't do... "laps" of the weights room, I just move from machine to machine. That's what it used to show/record before the latest update.
