When using the Versa's countdown, screen should keep in countdown

When I’m at the gym and I’m using the countdown timer in between sets, and I acknowledge when the timer is up the watch returns to the home screen. On my blaze watch after I acknowledged the timer and the screen would go to sleep it would still be on the timer when I woke the screen back up.  I hope that isn’t confusing and thanks for any help

@Cbgundy Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well! At this time this is the way it is supposed to work the time on your Versa. You could try using the Interval Time if you wish to try it for your exercises at the gym. Additionally you can suggest the change on how the Countdown timer works in our Feature suggestions board. The more votes an idea gets the more likely the developers will try to implement it. If you create an idea feel free to share it here so other members can see it and vote for it.

Let me know how it goes!

The blaze stayed in the countdown timer until I got out of it. I don’t understand the benefit of going back to the home screen by default.

@Cbgundy not sure why the change was done on the Versa. Still your feedback as a user is really important so this is why I suggested you posted this in the Feature suggestion board. This is how you let our developers know about the changes or improvement you are interested in seeing on your device.

I'll be around!
