Why notifications wake the screen?-Versa

With the new update, notifications now wake the screen automatically; is there a way to turn this function off? Beside the fact it’s signficantly decreasing battery life having notifications light my screen up all the time, I also appreciated the privacy. I’m having to disable notifications at work because I’m in a bar and customers keep commenting on notifications they see while passing things across to them.

As well as this my notifications have been kind of glitching; it’s signalling for a single notification multiple times, and they often won’t clear from the notification tab despite attempting to clear manually. Occasionally when I wake my watch the time displayed is from the previous time I checked it and takes a second go to update to the current time, too.

Push and hold the back button, and then toggle "Screen Wake" to "Manual."

Unfortunately that doesn’t work, the new update overrides that function specifically for notications. Which is super confusing because you’d think it would work that way; if I don’t want it autowaking just to tell me the time, why would I want it autowaking for my private information.

I'm sorry that isn't working! I understand how annoying that is. Hopefully Fitbit support sees this. 😊
