Finally got my Versa this morning. The WiFi connection issues in the ionic seem to be the same on the versa. The WiFi connection won’t stick and will completely drop after about 10 minutes. I can force a WiFi detection of my home WiFi with a reboot but it doesn’t stick. Very annoying. I hope hey fix it soon.

The Ionic and the Versa share the same operating system. When they resolve this or any other issue they will likely upgrade both.

Hi, this issue can be solved: in order to keep your WiFi on your Versa connected, you will need to do the following:

1. Your Versa has to be in the charger and connected to PC.

2. Go to your Fitbit app on you mobile device, go to the page where also Clock faces are shown and scroll down to WiFi settings. Click it

3. You should see your WiFi network now with on the right side of the screen a white icon.

4. Press this icon and it will start connecting to your network

5. Once it is connected, this icon turns to blue and says "connected"

This connection lasts as long as your Versa is in the charger and connected to your PC, otherwise it will disconnect after a few minutes. Good luck and let me know if this works for you.

Hi, it does not suck, it's just simply the way the Versa works to be connected to WiFi as it does not have WiFi itself and it works the way I described.

Hi, unfortunately I have to conclude that the answer, that is marked as accepted solution,  does not solve the mentioned problem  and thus should not be as such considered as an Accepted Solution. I performed my posted procedure already for the Ionic and it worked also flawlesly. Very sorry for that Patruns.

I have Spectrum internet and my Versa cannot even find it. Are you saying that I cannot use my IPad to connect to the WiFi to download data from the Versa unless connected to a PC. I’m confused. I have the app on my IPad.

I am also dealing with this and have been for a couple months now. I am extremely frustrated as the watch should simply connect and update via bluetooth instead of annoyingly never connecting via wifi. I am very over this watch and just want my charge 2 back.
