Wifi turned off versa 2

The wifi on my versa 2 has somehow turned off and I can't get it turned back on. It won't connect to the app. How can I turn it back on when the app doesn't see it or connect with it?

Hello @Kat5577 your wifi on the Versa 2 will only be turned on while the Versa 2 is on its charger. 

2nd thought is the Versa 2 connects to the phones Fitbit app through bluetooth, not wifi. 

The wifi on the Versa 2 connects to your homes wifi and talks directly to the Fitbit servers.

It wasn't connecting my versa 2 to my phone app. It could find the versa but wouldn't connect. I did a factory reset after trying to turn Bluetooth on and off and reinstalling the app. None of those worked. After I did the factory reset on the versa 2 it wouldn't connect still.... So finally I tried restarting my phone and after a bit of hassle, it FINALLY connected and I got it going again. Took me over 2 hours to get it connected again.Thank you for your reply!Sent from my Bell Samsung device over Canada's largest network.

My confusion is that none of what you mention had anything to do with wifi.

Your first post said nothing about the problem.
