I'm just curious if any one else is having issues with setup who is using a Win 10 device or computer? I just went to the Win10 community forum, and discovered that the "not being discovered" is a long running problem between Fitbit and Win10.
My new Versa would (slowly/eventually) set up, and then not be found.
It simply would not be discovered, not with all the tech support and attempts in the world.
It is already on it's way back to Fitbit.
I will try another Versa from BestBuy; just to try again.
But I know that my Alta HR works and syncs fine with Win10.
I am curious if other people with difficulties setting up or "device not found" problems are also Win10?
Best to all!
Have a great day!

Hey @A_AVL, it's great to see you around.
Thanks for troubleshooting this by yourself. Once you setup your device, you shouldn't have any issues at the moment of syncing. Have you checked if your phone is in our list of compatible mobile devices?
Since you have already returned the Versa, at the moment of receiving the new one, you can follow the instructions provided in the How do I set up my Fitbit device? article to pair the new one. Once you set it up, just log in to your account and try to sync as usual.
I hope this helps, let me know the outcome.

Hello:
I'm having trouble getting my brand new FitBit Versa working properly with my phone.
Unfortunately --- I'm using a Samsung S7 - which is NOT on your lest of supported devices.
More than a little surprising (let's just say it ---- shocking!!!) - since the Samsung S8 is already being sold to people -- and I have had this S7 phone for almost a year and a half. !!!!
Even more surprising - there is NO way of actually getting the FITBIT to work with my computer -- in the interim -- since there is no Windows PC based app either !!!!!
Soooooo ..... have I selected the wrong FITBIT?
One of the reasons I selected the FITBIT Versa -- was because it was the latest version/technology, it had the "watch-like" features and it was water-resistant to up to 50 M.
It difficult to convey how frustrated I am right now -- because I did go through the process of downloading the user guide -- for the Versa..........I've wasted a lot of time trying to get it going.
If FITBIT is going to release this "new/latest" technology -- for it not to be compatible with Samsung phones that are already second generation -- is a bit of a joke.......!!!
