I have been trying for the past 4 days to pair up my earbuds with my Versa (original Versa model) since the update and nothing I do makes this happen. I've tried every single suggestion that I've found on the update topics where others have had same/similar issues and I don't know how to correct this----or if it's even correctable. Any suggestions, other than throwing this Versa out in the road and hoping a truck rolls over it and crushes it flat?

I was given a Versa as a gift the year that it launched and have really enjoyed it....right up until this month, when I was notified that an update for it was ready to be installed.
I followed the directions and had so many problems that I ultimately gave up and did a full hard factory reset on it to see if I could just start over (after doing the update AGAIN). And even that won't work. So, to-date I've had the "update" done 4 times--three of them via my laptop WiFi system. Twice it said that my Fitbit was now updated and ready to go...and as soon as I opened the app on my phone (Samsung/Android) I was told it needed to be updated before the app would work. Twice more I tried---first by phone (and that took 5 hours and didn't "take" like it said it did) and then by laptop and that didn't "take" either. Bluetooth was on. WiFi was on. Both were set to only be recognized by my Versa so that updating would be quick and smooth, neither of which happened.
Unlike a lot of people, I do have working Notifications. Unlike a lot of people, my Versa no longer recognizes my bluetooth earbuds. I have completely lost my Personal Music playlist/library and when I tried to load it back on, it said I would have to pair my Versa to my earbuds before that could happen. Which I can't do because it says my earbuds apparently don't want to be friends with the Versa---despite having been close friends for this past year!
I asked for this Versa because I wanted the wireless bluetooth music feature and ever since this "update" that supposedly corrected all kinds of bugs and enhanced some features, it's done nothing more for me than give me a headache, made me hate Fitbit's inability to launch a product with as close to zero bugs as possible and to get any reported bugs corrected immediately.
I think I'll be looking for an easier-to-use tracker in my near future. Fitbit has lost my loyalty.
