Hi there,

I’m starting a new thread as I can’t find one with the specific issue I had today:

I started my “weights” exercise on my Versa Lite like usual, and when finished I hit “done” - it showed me the regular summary and that I had burned 201 calories.

An hour later, my dashboard only shows my walks to and from the gym and the 15 min on the elliptical following the weights, and the 201 calories aren’t counted in my summary.

Looking on my device itself, it shows “weights” and the time I started, but with no duration and 0 calories.

if this is a one off, that’s fine but I don’t want this to continue happening. Any answers?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @JessicaGolden. I am sorry for the delayed response.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing the details of the issue you experienced with your “weights” workout. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I would like to confirm that we’re aware of this issue and we'll continue to monitor the situation and working on the fix. I am sorry for any trouble, we're always working to improve our products.

I recommend restarting your device in order to refresh it internally: How do I restart my Fitbit device? Please also make sure your app is updated to the latest version.

i am on my second fitbit versa in 6 months and am still having the issue that this watch will not show any stats unless i since it. I also program "workout" "kickboxing" yoga" whatever before i start my workout. It will prompt me 100 cal burned etc, as i workout and when I'm done i hit finish. Shows my stats but if i go to the dashboard it shows 0 of 5 days exercise or whatever since last time i synced to the app. Always shows yesterdays stats not todays. Same with sleep stats, water historical data, fat burn, cardio and peak. The only thing it will keep track of on the watch itself without forcing a sync and restarting my watch is steps and steps per hour. When i wake up it will still be the sleep stats from the night before on my watch. If i go for a run, bike ride, swim whatever and don't have my phone on me the minute i push end on the workout i cannot see my stats on the watch itself until i forty sync my phone and turn on and off the watch. I must have missed in the directions that part where it tells you to do this!? I thought the point of a watch is it should be a stand alone device??? I wouldn't even care if it didn't connect to the app, i just want the watch part to work correctly so i know what i've done. I can't always be near my phone and I'm tired of using data to sync my phone when i'm not in wifi just so i can have my watch update. I might as well just use the health app that came on my phone and keep it on me all the time. I have called twice today and the new answer is we are aware and looking into it and don't have a answer except to keep doing what i'm doing. I hope this issue gets resolved quickly because it is very very very frustrating. And i have to charge my watch more often now, it is not holding the battery life nearly as long as it used to. I don't understand why the watch wont hold stats i am physically entering into the watch itself not 2 seconds ago?

by the way i have a extensive log i have kept on this problem writing down stats before and after forcing sync and also have taken photos before and after. The rep who handled the problems with my first watch had me email these. I have a new log and photos with this new watch. No one has asked for them  this time around but maybe they should refer to the photos i sent 3 months ago when this was a problem. Happy to send more photos and photo of my log. the first watch worked as a "standalone" device like it should for at least a month and the same with this one. So at some point they stop working like a "watch"
