Wrong time on Versa

  • Every time my fitbit versa dies it takes a few days to put the right time.  Its like time stops when it dies then when its charged the time resumes from there.  Any suggestions?

Time will correct by syncing with the app.

Hi, Does it die because the battery goes flat?

Its normal behavior for it to get the correct time from the phone and it does this when syncing with the phone, and will do it immediately if you restart the watch.

  • To be clear, you have charged your watch and restarted it?
  • You checked the settings?

 

In the phone Fitbit App

Click on profile photo [top left]

App Settings

Turn on automatic time zone

 

  • You also checked it had synced?

 

In the phone Fitbit App

Click on profile photo [top left]

 

Device photo [middle left]

Sync -

See when last synced

Try refresh by touching circle

it should say "a moment ago"

 

  • So you did all that and the time is still not right?

If the time is still not right have you also restarted your phone? and what type of phone is it?
