iPhone 6s not getting notifications

Sometimes my txt messages are not going to the versa and when the do then don’t stay there for like 24 hours like the instructions say they should..I had a txt message sent to me yesterday I deleted that from my phone it was still on versa,today.but when I had a txt message about 30 mins ago that didn’t stay on the versa it went straight away,,also not getting email notifications at all..

Pull down with your finger on the screen of your tracker Ross - if there are no messages there go to settings>bluetooth on your 6S. touch the circle i to the right of your connected versa, then forget this device. Your iPhone should rediscover it and connect. If you still aren't getting notifications to stick try rebooting your mobile by holding the top button until "slide to power off" then press and holding again for the Apple to come up again. Let me know if any of these first steps work...

I have done all of that but the txt messages just disappear they only stay on the versa for a few minutes.thats when I do get notifications...I still don’t get email or calendar notifications.thougt I would buy this instead on a Apple Watch..I have had a flexi,charge and charge 2 all had problems.

Hey @RossJ, it is great to see you around more often! If you are getting issues with the text messages on your Versa and also not getting e-mail and calendar notifications, beside the tips that @wmchapman. posted, I'd like you to review the following: 

- The Fitbit app is updated to the latest version

- Follow all the troubleshooting steps in this help article: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone.

That is correct @wmchapman, the 2.79 Fitbit app version for Android and iOS has been released. 

@RossJ, in this help article: About the Fitbit app, you'll find the instructions to update it on your phone.

Nothing showing on my phone for updates so can’t up date it yet.

In that case, then wait until you get the notification of a Fitbit app update and download the new version @RossJ. And let me know if you gets notifications after that.
